Wafa Al-Amaireh is a highly skilled Policy Lab Manager at USAID Makanati, with extensive experience in policy development, research, and program management. She has successfully led projects related to gender-based violence, child protection, and multi-sectoral needs assessments across Syria, Iraq, and Jordan.

Wafa has developed and managed key partnerships with organizations such as the National Council for Family Affairs and GAGE, contributing to impactful policy briefs and research reports. Her work focuses on enhancing community resilience, empowering women, and improving youth participation in public life. Wafa is also an expert in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), with a strong background in designing research methodologies and conducting capacity-building initiatives. She has worked with leading international organizations such as CARE, the International Rescue Committee, and UN Women, where she led evaluations, assessments, and training on various development topics. Wafa’s work continues to advance evidence-based policies that foster positive change in the MENA region.
