USAID/Jordan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Activity (MELA)

The USAID/Jordan Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Activity (MELA) is a five-year project (2020-2025) that works with implementing partners (IPs), local monitoring and evaluation organizations (LMOs), and the Government of Jordan (GoJ) to ensure USAID-funded activities in Jordan achieve their intended results by undertaking monitoring, evaluation, and strategic assessments, as well as through collaborative learning and adaptation (CLA). The Activity trains and guides MEL specialists, USAID/Jordan technical staff and senior management, and, IPs, to help them carefully and effectively monitor and evaluate achievements in their programs against intended results. MELA also supports local stakeholders to develop their ability to manage monitoring and evaluation of programs, develop a cadre of local experts, and remove the need for USAID monitoring and evaluation assistance in the future. As a Tier 1 Service provider, Integrated International has led evaluations, learning studies, and capacity building training for the Mission and USAID IPs, CLA self-assessments for USAID IPs, and the USAID MEL Apprenticeship Program of professional development from 2021-2025.
