Integrated led the GESI Analysis to inform the pathways of success and support needed for women-owned businesses. Leveraging three new sources of data, inclusive of SME big data, journey mapping, and case studies, the GESI analysis provided critical insights related to the geographies, sectors, technical areas of support, hiring practices, and networks of support utilized by women-owned businesses. This resulted in an action plan and metrics to mainstream gender in the USAID/Jordan Business Growth Activity. This approach has to date resulted in exceeding gender targets of the Activity and the creation of an Inclusion Hub where women-owned SMEs can access resources from the entire SEM ecosystem.
