Empowering Youth through the Final Evaluation of USAID’s Training for Employment Activity

ClientUSAID/JordanCountriesJordan

Commissioned by USAID, Integrated conducted an end-of-project evaluation for the USAID-funded Training for Employment Activity (TEA). Implemented by Education for Employment (EFE) Jordan, Luminus Technical University College (LTUC), and the Technical Vocational Training Academy (TVTA), TEA aimed to address the employment needs of marginalized groups, including women and youth, both Syrian and Jordanian, from poverty pockets, through skills training and employment matching. The evaluation employed a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions, to assess the program’s inclusivity, market relevance, and employment retention outcomes. The findings offer valuable lessons and best practices to guide future workforce development initiatives in Jordan.
