Mira Abu Moghli is a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) expert with over 17 years of experience across the MENA region, Europe, and the Caribbean.  Mira has worked extensively in gender equality, disability, child protection, and communications, partnering with INGOs, UN agencies, and governments. Her research work includes producing policy papers, gender analyses, baseline and endline evaluations, contextualizing materials, and creating DEIA training manuals for organizations such as Action Aid, USAID, the World Bank, UNDP, UNOPS, UN Women, Plan International, JNCW, and Care International. 

Certified as an ILO Participatory Gender Audit Facilitator and national GESI trainer, and holding a master’s in Gender and Development Studies and a BA in Media and Sociology, Mira specializes in developing inclusive, accessible training materials tailored to regional contexts, while her passion focuses on gender-based violence, and disability inclusion within displacement, as well as on sustainable, impactful solutions that address gender barriers to equity in MENA.
