About
Leen Al-Refai is a seasoned MEL specialist with experience across the MENA region and Eastern Europe, specializing in social cohesion, gender equality, livelihood programming, community resilience, and countering violent extremism. At Integrated, she plays pivotal roles in designing and conducting evaluations, developing and applying complex methodologies, and presenting findings and recommendations to high-profile clients such as USAID, Oxfam, and IFC, and the Government of Jordan, among others.
Prior to joining Integrated, Leen worked on FCDO-funded projects, where she developed MEL frameworks for community resilience and social cohesion initiatives, bringing diversity of exposure to ways of working on critical cross cutting issues, matched with extensive research experience, having collaborated with Chatham House and Chemonics on conflict prevention and mitigation.
