About
Belal Al Nobani is an accomplished Information Manager with extensive experience in the humanitarian and international development sectors. His expertise spans monitoring and evaluation (M&E), third-party monitoring, assessment design, and data management, with advanced skills in data visualization, knowledge management, and geographic information systems (GIS).
Currently serving as the Knowledge Management/MEL Specialist at USAID Makanati Activity, he brings expertise in data quality assessments, monitoring and evaluation, and advanced data visualization.
In his parallel role as Data Manager for the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) covering Pakistan and Afghanistan, Belal provides critical technical support in standardizing polio surveillance data and enhancing analytics for informed decision-making. His work has been instrumental in developing electronic data collection systems and conducting statistical analyses that inform GPEI’s strategic programming.
Previously, as the Management Information Systems Manager for USAID’s Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Activity, Belal led crucial transitions in data management systems and supported USAID missions with comprehensive data reporting and analysis. His experience extends to his role as Information Management Lead at REACH initiative, where he managed complex data flow processes and developed knowledge management platforms aligned with USAID guidelines.
