About
Afnan Al-Hadidi is a senior monitoring and evaluation (M&E) specialist with over 23 years of experience in international development and emergency response programs across Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Tunisia, and Morocco. She excels in designing results-based M&E tools, managing implementing partner (IP) teams, and ensuring data quality through rigorous control processes.
Afnan has led program evaluations and reviews, including refining results frameworks for Danish MFA – Regional Programs (RDPP & DAPP) for the Middle East and North Africa. Her experience includes leading M&E efforts for USAID/Jordan MESP, where she developed AMELPs, conducted Data Quality Assessments (DQAs), and managed evaluations. She also spent three years with Save the Children International overseeing emergency response M&E in Jordan within refugee camps and host communities.
Currently, Afnan is the MEAL Unit Regional Lead for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Danish Arab Partnership Program, providing expertise to MEAL teams in DAPP countries.
